TAMUCC MArcom

Internship   |   2023-2024

I had the opportunity to collaborate with several departments across the TAMUCC campus.

During my time as a Graphic Design Intern at the Marketing Department of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (MARCOM), I had the opportunity to collaborate with several university departments, ranging from the Theater Department to the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC). My responsibilities encompassed a variety of projects, ranging from print materials and digital advertising to vehicle wraps, banners, and more. This experience allowed me to refine my design skills within a corporate environment while learning to adapt to different client brands and requirements.

Tasked with designing a campaign logo and a series of graphics and flyers for the Symposium for Student Innovation and Creative Activities, I carefully considered the deliverables. Creating designs for both print and digital media, I crafted a versatile logo capable of seamless rescaling, ensuring client approval every step of the way

The Student Athletic department reached out to the marketing department, seeking a design for new door covers for the student study hall. After careful consideration, we settled on a vibrant style, blending student-athlete photography with a playful and refreshing twist.

An ongoing project I collaborated with the ROTC department to conceptualize a striking truck wrap. Throughout the process, I navigated existing designs, university and U.S. Army brand standards, and coordinated with various departments. From design inception to file preparation and communication with multiple stakeholders, I ensured a seamless journey towards the final result.

Crafting a vibrant banner to promote TAMUCC merchandise stands out as one of my most cherished projects. Entrusted with full creative autonomy, I had the exhilarating opportunity to showcase my illustrative prowess. With a blend of creativity and precision, I brought to life a captivating poster that not only captured attention but also effectively advertised the merchandise offerings.
